About Me

Jim: It took three and a half retirements and almost 40 years, but I finally got my priorities straight and acquired another sailboat. It turned out the No Number C-Lark was a sweet little boat, but too much time on the knees for a couple of guys in their 60's. We just couldn't race it competitively. Then came the Tanzer, #1306; she has been sailed hard, but well cared for. This is her story. Other work by Jim Slosson: Unmailed Letters from an REMF -- 364 and a Wake up in Nam. (available at Amazon) Cliches to Live By (not available anywhere) Small Schools, Big Stories (only four pages to go on the third draft), Couldn't Find Their Own Asses with Both Hands in a Well-lit Room--Why Schools Can't Fix Themselves (coming some day, but always timely).
